Admit Card Details

  • The admit card will be released on the official AIIMS Examination website at www.aiimsexams.ac.in.
  • Candidates must log in using their registration credentials and download the admit card online.
  • No admit card will be sent through post.
  • The examination city and state are expected to be notified 7 days before the issue of the admit card.
  • The admit card is scheduled to be issued 3 days before the examination date of the respective post or group.
  • Candidates must carry the downloaded admit card to the examination centre and hand it over to the invigilator for attendance marking.
  • Failure to produce the admit card at the examination centre may result in cancellation of candidature.
  • A separate admit card will be issued for the Skill Test, wherever applicable.
  • Skill Tests may be conducted at selected locations, preferably in Delhi/NCR.
  • Issue of an admit card is provisional and does not confirm eligibility, selection, appointment, or final candidature. Eligibility will be verified by the concerned participating institute at the relevant stage.

Documents to Carry to the Examination Centre

Candidates should carry the following items as instructed in the admit card and examination guidelines:

  • Downloaded and printed copy of the CRE-5 admit card.
  • Valid photo identity proof.
  • Any additional document specifically mentioned in the admit card.
  • Required certificates or undertaking documents for eligible PwBD candidates using a scribe or compensatory time, wherever applicable.

Each section will be activated separately for 18 minutes. After the specified time, the section will be automatically disabled and the next section will be activated. Candidates will not be permitted to return to a previous section.

Qualifying Marks

  • UR/EWS candidates: 40%
  • OBC candidates: 35%
  • SC/ST candidates: 30%
  • PwBD candidates, irrespective of category: 30%
  • Ex-Servicemen candidates: Qualifying marks applicable to their respective category.

Examination Language

  • Posts requiring Matriculation, 10+2, or equivalent qualifications will generally have bilingual question papers in English and Hindi.
  • Posts requiring technical domain knowledge or Bachelor’s degree and above will generally have the examination in English.
  • Combined groups containing posts with different qualification levels may be conducted in English only.
  • The final decision regarding the examination language will rest with the competent authority of AIIMS.

Post Groups and Syllabus Areas

The posts have been arranged into groups with similar eligibility and examination subjects. Major groups include Dietician and Warden, Administrative and Assistant posts, Data Entry Operator and Clerical posts, Civil and Electrical Engineering, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, ENT and Audiometry, Electrician and Wireman, Medical Gas Pipeline System, Laundry Supervisor, Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia, Pharmacy, Accounts, Storekeeping, CSSD, Hospital Attendant, Medical Laboratory Technology, Library Science, Medical Records, Stenography, Social Work and Psychology, Dental, Ophthalmic, Radiotherapy, Radiography, Perfusion Technology, Embryology, Security, Research, Physiotherapy, Driving, Nursing, Sanitary Inspection, Translation, Nuclear Medicine, Programming, Plumbing, Fire Safety, Legal Assistance, Dialysis Technology, Statistics, Catering, Photography, Biomedical Engineering and other related fields.

The domain syllabus will generally be based on the educational qualification and experience prescribed for the relevant post group.

Skill Test and Further Selection

Selection may include the following stages, depending on the post and applicable Recruitment Rules:

  1. Computer Based Test or written examination.
  2. Skill Test, wherever applicable.
  3. Physical Standards Test for security-related posts.
  4. Physical Efficiency Test for Fire Technician and Security cum Fire Assistant posts.
  5. Document Verification by the respective AIIMS or participating institute.
  6. Medical examination, wherever required.
  7. Allocation of institute or seat based on merit, eligibility, choices and preferences.

The merit list will generally be prepared on the basis of CBT performance. Where a Skill Test is prescribed, it will be qualifying in nature and the merit list will be prepared from candidates who qualify the applicable Skill Test.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates must use only one registration or candidate ID through the One-Time Registration process.
  • Duplicate or different Candidate IDs may result in rejection of the application.
  • Candidates must verify the eligibility requirements of each post before appearing in the examination.
  • The examination is conducted without detailed scrutiny of eligibility at the application stage; candidature may be cancelled at any stage if ineligibility or incorrect information is detected.
  • Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies or Government-funded institutions must submit the required No Objection Certificate within the prescribed date.
  • The NOC submission deadline is 08/07/2026. Candidates failing to submit the required NOC may not be allowed to appear in the examination.
  • Candidates must carry the original certificates and one photocopy of required documents during document verification, including the registration slip, admit card, date-of-birth proof, category certificate, educational certificates, experience certificate and NOC, wherever applicable.
  • Examination centres may be allotted in major States and Union Territories. AIIMS reserves the right to allot a city or state irrespective of the candidate’s preference.
  • If the number of applications in a group is fewer than 500, the examination may be conducted separately in Delhi/NCR.
  • Candidates should follow the instructions printed on the admit card and must not carry prohibited electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, cameras, storage media or programmable devices.

PwBD and Scribe Facility

Candidates with benchmark disabilities of 40% or more may be eligible for reservation and examination facilities where the post is identified as suitable for the relevant disability category. Eligible candidates may opt for their own scribe or request a scribe from the AIIMS Examination Section. Compensatory time of not less than 20 minutes per hour may be provided to eligible candidates, subject to submission of the required undertaking and medical certificates within the prescribed schedule.

Examination Centre Instructions

  • Reach the examination centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
  • Carry the admit card and valid identity proof.
  • Follow the seating, biometric verification and invigilator instructions.
  • Do not carry mobile phones or any electronic or communication device, even in switched-off mode.
  • Do not change the allotted seat, computer, screen, mouse or keyboard without permission.
  • Any impersonation, use of unfair means, submission of fabricated documents or misconduct may lead to cancellation of candidature, debarment from future examinations and legal or disciplinary action.

Application Fee Information

The application fee prescribed in the recruitment advertisement was applicable separately for each post group. Candidates who applied for more than one group were required to submit a separate application and pay the fee separately for each group. The prescribed fee was payable through debit card, credit card or net banking. The fee was non-refundable, subject to the refund provision applicable to SC/ST candidates who appeared in the examination.

Result and Seat Allocation

After the CBT and applicable qualifying Skill Tests, qualified candidates may be invited to submit their choice and order of preference for participating institutes and posts. Allocation will be made according to merit, eligibility, choices, vacancies and applicable rules. Failure to submit choices within the prescribed period may result in non-allocation of any institute or post.

Original documents of provisionally selected candidates will be verified by the respective AIIMS or participating institute. Failure to produce the required documents or failure to meet the eligibility conditions may lead to cancellation of candidature and forfeiture of the allocated seat.
