Eligibility / Qualification
- Nationality: Indian.
- Educational Qualification (as on 01/08/2025):
- 3 Years Diploma from a recognized Polytechnic/Institute with minimum 50% marks (SC/ST: 45%) in any one of:

Age Limit
Age is calculated as on 01/08/2025 (as per Matric/Equivalent certificate):
- UR (Male): 21 to 37 years
- UR (Female): 21 to 40 years
- BC / EBC (Male & Female): 21 to 40 years
- SC / ST (Male & Female): 21 to 42 years
- Bihar Government Employees: 5 years relaxation (for those with minimum 3 years of regular service)
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period relaxation, subject to maximum age 57 years
Admit Card Details
- Admit card for the written examination will be issued online to candidates with valid applications.
- Candidates should keep their registered mobile number and email ID active, as important updates may be sent via SMS/E-mail.
- Admit card will be available through the BPSSC website under the “Bihar Police” tab.

Important Notes
- Only Bihar domicile candidates are eligible for reservation benefits; candidates from other states will be treated as Unreserved.
- Pregnant married women candidates found pregnant during medical examination at the time of PET/running will not be allowed to participate and will be declared ineligible (as per notice).
- The recruitment process may take approximately 6 months; candidates should ensure availability for all stages.
