Opening
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has issued the official notice for CEN 08/2025 (Isolated Categories) recruitment. Candidates will be able to download City Intimation Slip and E-Call Letter (Admit Card) from the respective RRB websites as per schedule released by RRB.
The recruitment is for 312 posts including Chief Law Assistant, Public Prosecutor, Junior Translator (Hindi), Senior Publicity Inspector, Staff & Welfare Inspector, Scientific Assistant (Training), Lab Assistant Grade III (Chemist & Metallurgist), Scientific Supervisor (Ergonomics & Training).

Admit Card Details
Where and when to download
- City Intimation for CBT will be available about 10 days before the exam date.
- E-Call Letter (Admit Card) for CBT / Translation Test (as applicable) will be available about 4 days before the exam date.
- Candidates must download:

- E-Call Letter
- Travel Authority (where applicable) from the links on the official RRB website of the RRB chosen during application.
Documents to carry to the exam
Candidates must carry:
- Printed E-Call Letter (Admit Card)
- Valid Original Photo ID (any one): Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar print, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Govt Employee ID, School/College/University Photo ID (if still studying), etc.
- One colour passport photograph (not older than 2 months from the date of CBT/DV/ME as applicable)
SC/ST free travel authority
- SC/ST candidates who opted for free travel will get Sleeper Class Railway Pass / Travel Authority as part of the e-call letter.
- For booking reservation, submit self-attested photocopy of e-call letter and SC/ST certificate at ticket counter.
- During travel, carry original SC/ST certificate and original ID proof.
Exam day instructions (important)
- Banned items are not allowed: mobile phone, smartwatch, Bluetooth devices, calculator, books, papers, pen/pencil, bags, food items, water bottle, etc.
- Only e-call letter is allowed inside the test centre.
- Pen will be provided at the exam centre.
- Avoid applying henna on hands/feet as it may obstruct biometric capture.
- Candidates must write the Self-Declaration paragraph, sign and affix Left Thumb Impression (LTI) at the exam venue in presence of invigilator only. If written in advance or signed in capital letters, candidature may be rejected.

Junior Translator (Hindi) CBT + Translation Test
- CBT will test English + Hindi language proficiency along with GK, reasoning, simple arithmetic, basics of computer.
- At least 50% questions will be language proficiency:
- 20% English
- 30% Hindi
- Translation Test: Qualifying only
- Candidates up to 10 times vacancies called for TT based on CBT merit
- Qualifying marks: 60%
- Final merit based on CBT marks only (TT is qualifying)

- Level 7: ₹44,900 (Initial Pay)
- Level 6: ₹35,400 (Initial Pay)
- Level 2: ₹19,900 (Initial Pay)
Pay as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix plus admissible allowances as per Railway rules.
