RRB Various Level 1 Posts Admit Card 2026 - Download Now

RRB has notified CEN 09/2025 for various Level 1 posts with 22,195 vacancies. CBT city intimation and admit card (e-call letter) will be available on official RRB websites as per schedule; selection includes CBT, PET, DV and medical exam.

Opening

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has issued the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 09/2025 for recruitment to various Level 1 posts (7th CPC Pay Matrix). Candidates will be able to download City Intimation and e-Call Letter / Admit Card from the official RRB websites as per schedule released by RRB.

The recruitment is for 22,195 vacancies across multiple Railway Zones/Units. The CBT will be followed by PET (as applicable), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Age Limit

  • Age (as on 01/01/2026): 18 to 33 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per rules in the notification.

Key Age Relaxation (Upper Age Limit):

  • OBC-NCL: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (minimum 6 months service after attestation): UR/EWS 3 years, OBC-NCL 6 years, SC/ST 8 years (after deduction of length of service from age)
  • PwBD: OBC-NCL 13 years, SC/ST 15 years (PwBD UR relaxation also applicable as per suitability)
  • Railway staff (Group C / erstwhile Group D) with minimum 3 years service: UR/EWS 40 years, OBC-NCL 43 years, SC/ST 45 years
  • Widowed / Divorced / Judicially separated women (not remarried): UR 35 years, OBC-NCL 38 years, SC/ST 40 years
  • Course Completed Act Apprentices (Railway Establishments) for ITI/Apprenticeship minimum qualification posts: relaxation up to training period (max as per category)

Eligibility / Qualification

Candidates must have the prescribed qualification on or before 02/03/2026.

Minimum qualification (as per Annexure-A for Level 1 posts):

  • 10th Pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

Important: Candidates awaiting final result are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT) (single stage; RRB may conduct single or multi-stage as required)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (qualifying)
  3. Document Verification (DV)
  4. Medical Examination (ME)

Shortlisting:

  • PET: generally 3 times the vacancies (Railway/RRC wise) based on CBT merit.
  • DV/ME: generally 1:1 of vacancies (Railway/RRC wise) based on CBT merit + PET qualification.

Admit Card Details

When and where will the Admit Card be available?

  • Candidates must download City & Date Intimation and e-Call Letter / Admit Card from the links available on the official RRB/RRC websites.
  • City intimation will be provided about 10 days before the CBT.
  • e-Call Letter (Admit Card) for CBT will be available about 4 days before the CBT date.
  • No admit card will be sent by post.

Documents to carry with the Admit Card

Candidates must carry:

  • Printed e-Call Letter
  • Valid Original Photo ID (Aadhaar / e-Aadhaar printout / Voter ID / Driving License / PAN / Passport / Govt employee ID / School-College-University ID if studying, etc.)
  • One colour passport photograph (not older than 2 months from the date of CBT/PET/DV/ME as applicable)

Important exam day instructions (from notification)

  • Candidates must write the Self-Declaration paragraph, sign and affix Left Thumb Impression (LTI) on the e-call letter at the exam venue in presence of the invigilator only.
  • Writing the declaration in advance and/or signing in capital letters can lead to rejection.
  • Banned items inside test centre: mobile phone, smartwatch, Bluetooth devices, earphones, calculators, books, papers, pens/pencils, bags, water bottle, food items, etc.
  • Pen will be provided at the exam centre.
  • Do not apply Henna (Mehendi) as it may obstruct biometric capture.

PET Standards (for reference)

Male:

  • Lift & carry 35 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes (one chance) without putting weight down
  • Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds (one chance)

Female / Transgender (relaxed standards equivalent to female):

  • Lift & carry 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes (one chance) without putting weight down
  • Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds (one chance)

Exemptions:

  • PwBD: exempted from PET (medical examination as per PwBD standards required)
  • Ex-Servicemen: exempted from PET
  • Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA): exempted from PET
