RRB Various Level 1 Posts Admit Card 2026 - Download Now

RRB has announced CEN 09/2025 for Level 1 posts. CBT admit card will be released about 4 days before the exam and city intimation about 10 days before CBT on official RRB websites.

Opening

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued the Centralised Employment Notification CEN No. 09/2025 for recruitment to Various Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The Admit Card / E-Call Letter for CBT will be released on the official RRB websites about 4 days before the CBT date, and the Exam City & Date Intimation will be available about 10 days before the CBT.

Candidates must note that the CBT date is not mentioned in the notification and will be announced separately on the respective RRB websites.

Admit Card Details

When will the Admit Card be released?

  • Exam City & Date Intimation: about 10 days before CBT
  • CBT E-Call Letter (Admit Card): about 4 days before CBT

Where to download the Admit Card?

  • Admit Card / E-Call Letter will be available only on the official RRB websites.
  • No admit card will be sent by post.

Documents to carry to the exam center

Candidates must bring:

  • Printed E-Call Letter (Admit Card)
  • Valid Original Photo ID (any one):
    • Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar printout
    • Voter ID
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
    • Driving License
    • Employer Photo ID (for government employees)
    • School/College/University Photo ID (if still studying)
  • One color passport photograph (not older than 2 months from the date of CBT/PET/DV/ME as applicable)

Important exam day instructions (as per notification)

  • Candidates must write the Self-Declaration paragraph, sign, and affix Left Thumb Impression (LTI) on the e-call letter only at the exam venue in the presence of the invigilator.
  • Writing the self-declaration in advance and/or signing in capital letters can lead to rejection.
  • Banned items inside test center include mobile phone, watches, earphones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, books, papers, pens/pencils, bags, food items, etc.
  • Candidates should not apply henna on hands/feet as it may obstruct biometric capture.

Notes:

  • PET shortlisting: 3 times the vacancies (Railway/RRC-wise) based on CBT merit.
  • DV & Medical shortlisting: 1:1 of vacancies (Railway/RRC-wise) based on CBT merit and PET qualification.

Minimum qualifying marks (for shortlisting)

  • UR: 40%
  • EWS: 40%
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 30%

PwBD relaxation: minimum qualifying marks may be relaxed by up to 2 marks in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies.

Upper age relaxation (key points):

  • OBC-NCL: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: OBC-NCL 13 years, SC/ST 15 years (as mentioned)
  • Ex-Servicemen: as per rules mentioned in notification (after deduction of length of service)

Date of Birth range (for 18 to 33 years as on 01/01/2026):

  • UR & EWS: Not born earlier than 02/01/1993
  • OBC-NCL: Not born earlier than 02/01/1990
  • SC/ST: Not born earlier than 02/01/1988
  • Lower limit (all categories): Not born after 01/01/2008

Eligibility / Qualification

Candidates must have qualification as per Annexure-A (Post Parameters). For the posts shown in the notification extract, the minimum qualification is:

  • 10th Pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

Important:

  • Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible.
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering is not accepted in lieu of ITI/CCAA for Level-1 unless specifically mentioned.

Salary / Pay Scale

  • Pay Level: Level 1 (7th CPC Pay Matrix)
  • Initial Pay: ₹18,000
