Territorial Army has announced the Admit Card information for the Territorial Army Commission – 2026 (Officer Entry) Computer Based Test (CBT). The CBT is scheduled on 12/07/2026, and the admit card will be available online 10 to 15 days before the exam on the official website.

Admit Card Details
- Admit card will be made available online for download 10 to 15 days before the exam.
- The admit card will display:
- Candidate photograph and scanned signature
- Date of birth
- Date & time of examination
- Name and address of examination centre
- Email and SMS alerts will also be sent to candidates.
- Candidates must apply and access services only through the official website.

- Type of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Qualifying Marks: To be decided by Territorial Army Directorate.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Questions marked for review will be treated as unanswered.
Eligibility / Key Conditions (As per Notification)
- Nationality: Indian citizens (Male and Female)
- Education: Graduate from any recognized university
- Employment: Must be gainfully employed
- Not eligible: Serving members of Regular Army / Navy / Air Force / Police / GREF / Para Military and similar forces
- Physical Standards: Candidate must be physically and medically fit as per guidelines on the Indian Army website.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview (Intelligence and Personality Test)
- Stage I: Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test
- Stage II: Remaining tests for candidates who qualify Stage I
- Final merit will be prepared separately for male and female candidates based on CBT + SSB.
SSB Interview: Documents to Carry (After CBT Qualification)
Candidates qualifying CBT must bring originals with self-attested copies at SSB:
- Application Form IAF (TA)-9 (Revised) Part-2 (download from website) filled in own handwriting
- Educational certificates (Matric onwards)
- Photo ID proof (Voter ID / PAN / Passport / Driving License / Aadhaar etc.)
- Proof of residential address
- Proof of age (Matric / Senior Secondary marksheet & certificate)
- Gazette notification / affidavit (if name differs across documents)
- Latest income proof (Income Tax / Magistrate / Employer)
- Copy of latest ITR filed
- Admit Card
- For self-employed: affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper (minimum value) + PAN copy + self-certified character certificate
- For employed candidates: service certificate + salary certificate + NOC as per prescribed format
Exam Cities
The CBT will be conducted Pan India. The list of examination centres/cities will be available on the official website. Territorial Army Directorate may conduct CBT at all or selected cities depending on candidate count and other requirements.
Objection Management (Post Exam)
- Objection Management link will be hosted on the website after 72 hours from the exam date.
- Response sheet download link will be shared on registered email.
- Objection link will remain live for 3 days only.

Pay and allowances/privileges will be the same as Regular Army Officers when embodied for training and military service.
Training / Service Highlights
- Up to 6 months Pre-Commission Training (commission granted only after successful completion)
- 21 days Post Commission leave
- 30 days training after post commission leave
- Two months annual training camp every year (mandatory)
- Territorial Army is a part-time concept and does not guarantee a full-time career or pension (pension depends on embodied service as per requirement).
