Admit Card Details
Candidates will have to visit the official website of the U.P. Co-operative Institutional Service Board to download the admit card for the online examination. An intimation regarding admit card availability may also be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
The admit card can be downloaded using the following credentials:
- Registration Number or Roll Number
- Password or Date of Birth
Candidates should affix a recent, identifiable passport-size photograph on the admit card, preferably the same photograph used during registration.
Documents Required at the Examination Centre
Candidates must carry the following documents to the examination centre:
- Printed examination admit card with photograph affixed.
- Original valid photo identity proof.
- Photocopy of the same photo identity proof.
Acceptable photo identity proofs include PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, bank passbook with photograph, Aadhaar Card or e-Aadhaar, employee identity card, valid college or university identity card, Bar Council identity card, or photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer or public representative on official letterhead.
Ration Card and learner's driving licence will not be accepted as valid identity proof. The name on the admit card must match the name on the photo identity proof. Candidates arriving after the reporting time mentioned on the admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination.

Candidates belonging to horizontal reservation categories must pay the fee according to their original category. Candidates who are not natives of Uttar Pradesh and claim reservation categories will be treated as unreserved candidates for fee and reservation purposes. If the examination is conducted in two stages, the prescribed fee will be payable separately for the Preliminary and Main Examinations.
Age Limit
Candidates must have completed 21 years of age as on 01/01/2026 and must not be above 40 years of age. Candidates should have been born between 01/01/1986 and 01/01/2005.
The maximum age limit for Divyangjan candidates is 55 years. A maximum age relaxation of 5 years is available to eligible Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, outstanding sports person and government employee candidates of Uttar Pradesh, subject to the notification conditions. Divyangjan candidates of Uttar Pradesh may receive up to 15 years of relaxation. Eligible ex-servicemen and commissioned officers may receive relaxation as prescribed in the advertisement.
Educational Qualification
The recruitment includes posts requiring the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Banking, Finance or Human Resources with prescribed marks.
- B.Tech, B.E., B.C.A. or M.C.A. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication for technical and computer posts.
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics, MBA, PGDM, Chartered Accountancy or relevant postgraduate qualification for specified managerial posts.
- Graduation with CCC, O-Level or equivalent computer certificate for clerical, cashier, typist and assistant posts.
- Bachelor of Commerce or postgraduate diploma in accountancy with computer qualification for accountant and assistant accountant posts.
- Graduation with prescribed Hindi and English stenography and computer typing speed for stenographer-related posts.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering for Civil Engineering posts.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering for Electrical Engineering posts.
All required qualifications must be possessed by the last date of submission of the online application.
Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination, if required.
- Main Examination.
- Interview or personality test for Category 1 and Category 2 posts.
- Proficiency or skill test for Category 3 posts wherever prescribed as an essential qualification.
- Document verification and medical examination.
Candidates up to 15 times the number of vacancies may be shortlisted for the Main Examination. Up to three times the number of vacancies may be called for interview, and up to five times the vacancies may be called for a proficiency test wherever applicable.

The paper contains 120 questions for 200 marks and 120 minutes. Sections include Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Co-operative, Hindi and English Language, and the relevant subject such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Commerce.

Negative Marking
For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted. Selecting more than one option will be treated as an incorrect answer and will attract negative marking. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
The minimum efficiency standard in the Main Examination is 35% for SC/ST candidates and 40% for candidates of other categories.
Examination Instructions
- The examination will be conducted online at the centre mentioned in the admit card.
- Candidates may be allotted a centre different from the centre selected during registration.
- Requests for change of examination centre, date or session will not be accepted.
- Candidates must appear only once for a particular post, even if more than one admit card is issued.
- Mobile phones and other electronic communication devices are prohibited in the examination and interview premises.
- Candidates using a scribe must mention the requirement in the online application. A compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour may be provided to eligible candidates who registered for the facility.
