Admit Card Details

Candidates will be required to visit the official website of the U.P. Co-operative Institutional Service Board to download the admit card. An intimation regarding admit card availability may also be sent through the registered email address and mobile number.

To download the admit card, candidates will need the following details:

  • Registration Number or Roll Number
  • Password or Date of Birth

Candidates must affix a recent, identifiable photograph on the admit card, preferably the same photograph submitted during online registration.

Documents to Carry to the Examination Centre

Candidates must carry the following documents to the examination centre:

  1. Printed copy of the admit card.
  2. Original valid photo identity proof.
  3. Photocopy of the same photo identity proof.
  4. Recent passport-size photograph, wherever specified on the admit card.

Acceptable photo identity documents include PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Bank Passbook with Photograph, Aadhaar Card, e-Aadhaar Card with photograph, Employee ID Card, valid College or University Identity Card, Bar Council Identity Card and photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer or public representative on official letterhead.

Ration Card and Learner’s Driving Licence will not be accepted as valid identity proof. The name printed on the admit card must match the name mentioned on the photo identity proof. Candidates who have changed their name must carry the original Gazette Notification, marriage certificate or affidavit, as applicable.

Examination Pattern

The recruitment examination will be conducted online in objective multiple-choice mode. Depending on the number of applications, the Service Board may conduct the examination in one stage or two stages.

A separate Class 3 main examination pattern for Junior Engineer, Accountant, Assistant Accountant and Accounts Clerk posts includes Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Co-operative, Language and the relevant technical or Commerce subject, for a total of 120 questions and 200 marks.

Negative Marking

There will be a deduction of one-fourth of the marks allotted to a question for every wrong answer. If more than one option is marked, the answer will be treated as incorrect and negative marking will apply. No marks will be deducted for an unattempted question.

Selection Process

The selection process may include the following stages depending on the post and number of applications:

  1. Preliminary Examination, if required.
  2. Main Examination.
  3. Interview or personality test for Category 1 and Category 2 posts.
  4. Proficiency or skill test for Category 3 posts wherever prescribed as an essential qualification.
  5. Document verification and medical examination.

Candidates up to 15 times the number of vacancies may be shortlisted from the Preliminary Examination for the Main Examination. Based on the Main Examination, candidates up to three times the number of posts may be called for interview and up to five times the number of posts may be called for the proficiency test, wherever applicable.

Important Examination Instructions

  • Candidates arriving after the reporting time mentioned on the admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
  • Candidates may be required to remain at the examination venue for approximately four hours, including verification, login and other formalities.
  • No request for change of examination centre, venue, date or session will be accepted.
  • Candidates must appear only once for the applied post. Appearing more than once may result in cancellation of candidature.
  • Mobile phones and other electronic communication devices are prohibited in the examination and interview areas.
  • The question paper will generally be available in Hindi and English, except for General Hindi and General English questions. In case of doubt, the English version will be treated as valid.
  • Candidates using a scribe must have mentioned the requirement in the online application form. A compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour may be provided to eligible candidates who have registered for the facility.
