Candidates belonging to OBC and SC categories under horizontal reservation, except Divyangjan candidates, are required to pay the fee applicable to their original category. Bank transaction charges are payable by the candidate. If the examination is conducted in two stages, the prescribed fee will be payable separately for the Preliminary and Main Examinations.
Age Limit
The age limit is calculated as on 01/01/2026.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- Candidates should not have been born before 01/01/1986 and not later than 01/01/2005.
- Maximum age for Divyangjan candidates of Uttar Pradesh: 55 years; such candidates should not have been born before 01/01/1971.
- SC and OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh, skilled sportspersons of Uttar Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh State Government employees and eligible teachers/employees of specified Uttar Pradesh educational institutions receive 5 years' relaxation in the maximum age limit.
- Divyangjan candidates of Uttar Pradesh receive 15 years' relaxation in the maximum age limit.
- Emergency Commissioned Officers, Short-Term Commissioned Officers and eligible ex-servicemen receive relaxation equal to the period of Army service plus 3 years.
- Candidates claiming reservation or age relaxation must possess the prescribed certificate issued by the competent authority.

Reservation is applicable to SC and OBC candidates of Uttar Pradesh under vertical reservation. Horizontal reservation is applicable, as per government rules, to eligible dependents of freedom fighters, Divyangjan, ex-servicemen, women and outstanding sportspersons of Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility / Qualification
Manager and Junior Manager
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with at least 55% marks, or a Bachelor's Degree with Economics, Mathematics or Statistics as one subject with at least 55% marks, from a recognized University or Institution established by law in India, along with minimum 'O' Level or equivalent computer qualification.
- B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science or Information Technology, B.C.A. or M.C.A. with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- B.B.A./M.B.A. in Banking, Finance or Human Resources from an institution recognized by UGC/AICTE.
- Full-time PGDM in Banking, Finance or Human Resources.
The computer qualification equivalence prescribed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh will apply.
Assistant/Cashier (Banking Assistant/Clerical Staff)
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University or Institution established by law in India.
- Minimum CCC certificate in computer is mandatory.
Assistant/Typist
- Graduation from a recognized University or Institution established by law in India.
- Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi and 40 words per minute in English.
- Minimum CCC certificate in computer is mandatory.
Assistant Engineer (Civil)
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution established by law in India, or an equivalent degree recognized by the Government.
All required qualifications must be possessed by the last date of application. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination for the mandatory qualification are not eligible.
Admit Card Details
The admit card will be downloaded from the official Service Board website. Intimation regarding admit card availability may also be sent through the registered email address and mobile number.

Candidates should affix a recent, identifiable photograph on the admit card, preferably the same photograph submitted during registration. The admit card must be carried to the examination centre.
Documents to Carry to the Examination Centre
Candidates must carry the following documents in original along with a photocopy of the photo identity proof:
- Examination Admit Card
- One currently valid photo identity proof bearing the candidate's name
- Photocopy of the same photo identity proof
Valid identity documents include PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter Identity Card, Bank Passbook with photograph, Aadhaar Card or e-Aadhaar Card with photograph, Employee Identity Card, valid college or university identity card, Bar Council identity card with photograph, or photo identity proof issued on the official letterhead by a Gazetted Officer or public representative.
Ration Card and Learner's Driving Licence are not accepted as valid identity proof. The name on the admit card must match the name on the identity proof. Candidates who have changed their name must carry the applicable original Gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit as prescribed.
Candidates arriving after the reporting time mentioned on the admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination. They may be required to remain at the examination venue for approximately four hours for verification, document checking, login and other formalities.
Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination, if required.
- Main Examination.
- Interview or personality test for Category-1 and Category-2 posts.
- Proficiency or skill test for Category-3 posts wherever prescribed as an essential qualification.
- Document verification and medical examination.
Normally, the examination will be conducted in a single stage called the Main Examination. If applications exceed the specified limit, the Service Board may conduct a Preliminary Examination followed by the Main Examination. Preliminary Examination marks will not be included in the final merit list. Up to 15 times the number of vacancies may be shortlisted for the Main Examination, up to 3 times the number of candidates may be called for interview and up to 5 times may be called for a proficiency test, wherever applicable.

Cooperative Studies
Origin and development of cooperatives, important national-level cooperative societies, formation of the Union Ministry of Cooperation, prosperity through cooperation, development of cooperatives in Uttar Pradesh, cooperative societies in Uttar Pradesh and innovations in cooperatives. The Main Examination syllabus also refers to organizations such as Amul, IFFCO and KRIBHCO.
Computer Language for Category-3 Posts
Basics of hardware and software, operating systems, internet and related topics, Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, history of computers, basic computer networking, databases, and cyber security tools and processes.
Civil Engineering for Assistant Engineer
Engineering mechanics, strength of materials, structural analysis, structural steel, reinforced concrete, building materials, construction technology, planning and management, geotechnical and foundation engineering, fluid mechanics, hydraulic machines and hydropower, hydrology, groundwater flow, highway engineering, railway engineering and environmental engineering.
Important Examination Instructions
- Candidates may apply only through the online mode during the prescribed application period.
- Separate applications are accepted for the advertised post or group as prescribed.
- Candidates must fill in their post and institution preferences carefully; preferences cannot be changed later.
- Photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and handwritten declaration must be uploaded in the prescribed format.
- The handwritten declaration must be written by the candidate in English using black ink. Capital-letter signatures or declarations are not accepted.
- Candidates must keep their registered email ID and mobile number active throughout the recruitment process.
- Candidates using a scribe must mention this requirement in the online application. A compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour may be provided to eligible candidates who have registered for the facility.
- Mobile phones and similar electronic communication devices are prohibited in the examination and interview room.
- The Service Board may change, cancel or allot an examination centre based on administrative or technical requirements. Requests for change of centre, date or session will not be accepted.
- The decision of the Service Board regarding eligibility, examination and selection will be final.

Reservation and Document Requirements
Reservation benefits are available only to eligible candidates of Uttar Pradesh as per applicable government rules. Candidates claiming SC, OBC, Divyangjan, dependent of freedom fighter, ex-serviceman, women or outstanding sportsperson benefits must upload and produce certificates in the prescribed format. Female candidates must submit a caste certificate issued from the father's side. Candidates claiming more than one reservation or age relaxation will receive only the one benefit that is more beneficial.
Candidates must preserve the submitted application form, fee receipt, admit card and all uploaded certificates. Original documents will be verified during the recruitment process, and failure to produce the required records may lead to cancellation of candidature.
