Age Limit
The prescribed age is 18 to 40 years. Age is calculated according to the applicable recruitment-year provisions: candidates must be 18 years old and must not be more than 40 years old. Relaxation in the upper age limit is available to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and other eligible categories according to Uttar Pradesh Government rules. State government employees may receive up to five years of upper-age relaxation as specified in the notification.

Horizontal Reservation

Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
- Hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
- Be registered with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh.
- Have appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 and possess a valid PET-2025 scorecard issued by the Commission.
- For preference in direct recruitment, candidates may qualify through either of the following:
- At least two years of service in the Territorial Army; or
- A valid National Cadet Corps 'B' certificate.
- Required category, domicile, EWS, disability, ex-servicemen, freedom fighter dependant, women and outstanding sportsperson certificates must be available in the prescribed format wherever applicable.
Candidates whose PET-2025 absolute score or normalised score is zero or negative will not be shortlisted for the main examination. Shortlisting for the written examination will be based on the normalised PET-2025 score, generally considering up to 15 times the advertised vacancies category-wise up to the applicable cutoff.

Important Candidate Instructions
