The fee is inclusive of GST and must be paid through online mode only. Payment can be made using debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards or mobile wallets. Age Limit

The age limit will be calculated as on 07/09/2026.

  • Manager: Maximum 32 years.
  • Junior Executive: Maximum 27 years.
  • SC/ST candidates: Upper-age relaxation of 5 years.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: Upper-age relaxation of 3 years.
  • PwBD candidates: Upper-age relaxation of 10 years for posts identified as suitable for the relevant disability category.
  • Eligible ex-servicemen and commissioned officers: Maximum relaxation of 5 years.
  • Eligible regular AAI employees who have completed probation: Maximum relaxation of 10 years.
  • The date of birth recorded in the Matriculation or Secondary Examination certificate will be accepted.

Degrees, diplomas, certificates and membership examinations must be from recognized universities or institutions. Open and Distance Learning qualifications from UGC-recognized universities or AICTE-approved courses may be considered wherever applicable. Law qualifications must be from an institute or university recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Candidates applying for Manager and Junior Executive Operations must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle driving licence. Temporary or learner licences will not be accepted. Manager (Fire Services) candidates must produce a valid permanent Light Motor Vehicle licence during Application Verification.

Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test (objective type) for all posts.
  2. Application Verification for shortlisted candidates.
  3. Subsequent tests, wherever applicable.
  4. Interview for Post Codes 1 to 11.
  5. Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test for Manager (Fire Services).
  6. Medical examination, document verification and background or character verification.
  7. Final merit-based provisional selection based on CBT and interview performance, wherever applicable, subject to qualifying all prescribed tests and fulfilling eligibility conditions.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the Computer Based Test. The CBT will be bilingual in Hindi and English, except for language tests. The syllabus will be published separately under the syllabus section of the relevant AAI recruitment advertisement.

For Manager (Fire Services), the Physical Endurance Test includes running, casualty carrying, pole climbing, rope climbing and full ladder climbing and descending. Selected candidates for this post will undergo training and must execute a surety bond of ₹5,00,000 to serve AAI until three years after completion of training.

Salary / Pay Scale

In addition to basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance, perks at 35% of basic pay, HRA and benefits such as CPF, gratuity, social security schemes and medical benefits according to AAI rules. Eligible candidates joining through proper channel from other CPSEs, State PSUs or Government Departments may receive pay protection as per DPE guidelines.

Important Instructions

  • Only Indian nationals fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions may apply.
  • All eligibility conditions, including age, qualification and experience, will be assessed as on 07/09/2026.
  • The final result or marks sheet for the required qualification must have been issued on or before the cut-off date.
  • OBC (NCL) candidates must produce a valid Central Government-format OBC certificate issued during Financial Year 2026-27. State OBC certificates and certificates issued for educational admission will not be accepted for reservation.
  • EWS candidates must produce a valid EWS certificate for Financial Year 2026-27.
  • SC/ST certificates must be issued by the competent authority on or before 07/09/2026.
  • PwBD candidates must produce a valid disability certificate issued on or before 07/09/2026 in the prescribed Central Government format through the Swavalamban or UDID Portal.
  • Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit a separate registration and pay the applicable fee separately for each post.
  • Candidates already employed with the Central or State Government, autonomous bodies or PSUs must produce a No Objection Certificate during Application Verification or Interview.
  • Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.
  • Candidates must regularly check the AAI website and registered email, including the spam folder, for admit cards, call letters, test updates and offer letters.
  • Original certificates, identity proof and one set of self-attested photocopies must be produced during Application Verification or Interview.
  • Candidates using a scribe or compensatory time must indicate this in the online application and bring the prescribed medical certificates and undertakings to the examination centre. Compensatory time will be 20 minutes per hour of examination for eligible candidates who opt for it during application.
  • Medical examination expenses will be borne by the candidate. Colour blindness or night blindness is a rejection criterion for all advertised posts except Post Codes 3 and 12, subject to applicable PwBD suitability provisions.
  • Applicants must upload a recent photograph, live photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration according to the specifications in the notification. The handwritten declaration must be written by the candidate in English.
  • False information, forged documents, impersonation, use of unfair means, canvassing or carrying prohibited electronic devices may lead to rejection of candidature and other legal or disciplinary action.
