Eligibility / Qualification

Educational Qualification (as mentioned in the notification):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized institution, OR
  • Bachelor (Fire Engineering), OR
  • Engineering Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Automobile subject, and
  • Must have passed Divisional Officer Course from the National Fire College, Nagpur, OR completed prescribed training for senior supervisory officer of minimum 3 months from other institutions recognized by the Central Government.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years work experience in the fire fighting area.
  • Out of this, minimum 2 years experience should be as Divisional Fire Officer, OR
  • 2 years work experience on an equivalent senior supervisory post.
