Eligibility / Qualification
Nationality
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification (as on 01/08/2025)
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/equivalent with at least one of the following subjects:
- Animal Husbandry & Animal Science
- Botany
- Chemistry
- Geology
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Statistics
- Zoology

- Agriculture Graduate
- Forestry
- Engineering Degree
Physical Standards (Height / Chest)
Note: No marks will be awarded for height/chest, but candidates not meeting standards will be declared unsuccessful.
Minimum Height
- UR / BC / EBC / SC Male: 163 cm
- ST Male: 152.5 cm
- UR / BC / EBC / SC Female: 150 cm
- ST Female: 145 cm
Chest (Only for Male)
- Without expansion: 79 cm (minimum)
- With expansion: 84 cm (minimum)
- Minimum expansion difference required: 5 cm
Third Gender candidates: Physical standards and physical efficiency standards will be applicable as per BC category.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male (all categories): 25 km walk within 4 hours
- Female (all categories): 14 km walk within 4 hours
Candidates failing PET will not be recommended for appointment, even if they have marks in written exam/interview.
