Eligibility / Qualification
Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum: 10+2 (Intermediate) pass or equivalent.
Driving License Requirement:
- Candidate must possess a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and/or Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV).
- The driving license must be issued at least 1 year before the advertisement date.
- Cut-off date for driving license eligibility: 17/07/2024.

Syllabus / Subject Weightage (as per notification):
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 60%
- Motor Vehicles Act, related rules, traffic signs & signals: 20%
- Basic knowledge of vehicle parts, lubrication, maintenance, and common mechanical/technical faults: 20%
Minimum Qualifying Marks (Written Exam):
- UR: 40%
- BC: 36.5%
- EBC: 34%
- SC / ST / Female: 32%
Important: Written exam marks will be used only to shortlist candidates for PET. The written exam is qualifying in nature and will not be the basis of the final merit list.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
PET events: Running, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put. All events are qualifying.
Running:
- Male (All Categories): 1 Mile (1.6 km) in 7 minutes
- Female (All Categories): 1 km in 7 minutes

Key points:
