Opening Overview
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the CRP SPL-XVI notification for recruitment of Specialist Officers (Scale I) in participating Public Sector Banks for vacancies of 2027-28. Online applications can be submitted from 01/07/2026 to 21/07/2026. The selection will be through Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview.

- Date of Birth: Candidate must be born not earlier than 02/07/1996 and not later than 01/07/2006 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation (Upper Age Limit):

- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (RPwD Act 2016): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen / ECOs / SSCOs (minimum 5 years service): 5 years (as per Govt guidelines)

Final merit is based on Main Exam + Interview. Weightage: Main Exam 80% + Interview 20%.
