The posts are intended for ICSI Chapter Offices, Regional Offices, CCGRTs across India and Headquarters at New Delhi/Noida. The organization may increase or decrease the number of vacancies, leave posts unfilled or cancel the recruitment process as per its requirements.

Eligibility / Qualification

  • The candidate must be a Graduate in Commerce from a recognized university or institution.
  • The candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Training experience forming part of the curriculum of any degree or diploma will not be counted towards the required experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
  • Qualifications obtained from universities or institutions in India or abroad must be recognized. Courses offered by autonomous institutions must be equivalent to courses approved or recognized by AIU, UGC or AICTE.
  • Candidates working in Central or State Government departments, autonomous bodies, statutory bodies or PSUs must produce a No Objection Certificate from their present employer at the time of original document verification.
  • Internal candidates must forward their applications through their respective Heads of Departments after fulfilling the criteria prescribed under the ICSI Service Rules.

Job Responsibilities

The indicative duties of an Executive Assistant posted at a Chapter Office include:

  • Taking day-to-day decisions for the smooth functioning of the Chapter office in consultation with the Chairman.
  • Improving services provided to members and students.
  • Jointly operating bank accounts with office bearers within the monetary limits decided by the Regional Council or Chapter.
  • Initialing receipt and payment vouchers before placing them before the Chairman or Treasurer for approval.
  • Attending Managing Committee meetings and assisting the Secretary in preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Following the prescribed purchase procedures and manuals for procurement of materials and services.
  • Examining the proprietary aspects of expenses while making purchases.
  • Authenticating MIS reports and other reports required by various Directorates of the Headquarters.
  • Performing other duties assigned by the Headquarters from time to time.

The duties for candidates posted at offices other than Chapter Offices will be decided by the respective Directorate or office.

Selection Process

  1. Scrutiny and shortlisting of applications by ICSI.
  2. Objective-type written test consisting of multiple-choice questions.
  3. Original document verification for candidates included in the consideration list after the written test.
  4. Final selection and appointment as per ICSI rules.

Mere submission of an application or fulfillment of eligibility conditions does not guarantee shortlisting or a call for the written test. ICSI may fix minimum eligibility standards, qualifying marks and the number of candidates to be called for the test or document verification.

Exam Pattern

The written test will be of objective type (MCQ) and will broadly cover the following subjects:

The notification does not specify the number of questions, marks, duration or negative marking scheme.

Salary / Pay Scale

  • Pay Level: Level 4 as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix

General Conditions

  • Candidates must carefully complete all fields in the online resume form. Incomplete, vague or incorrectly formatted applications may be rejected.
  • Candidates must maintain a valid personal email address and regularly check it for updates regarding the written test and document verification. ICSI will communicate with applicants through email and not by post.
  • Candidates should retain a printout of the submitted online form for future reference. Hard copies of the application form, CV or certificates must not be sent to ICSI.
  • Percentage marks must be entered after rounding down to the lower whole number. For example, 49.3% or 49.8% must be entered as 49%. Grades must be converted into numerical percentage equivalents.
  • Special characters should not be entered in the online resume form. The resume file uploaded with the application must not exceed 100 KB.
  • Selection and posting will be on an All India basis. Candidates cannot claim preference for posting in a particular State or city and may be posted or transferred anywhere in India.
  • No travel allowance will be paid for attending the written test.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • Any dispute arising from the advertisement will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts situated at New Delhi.
