Eligibility / Qualification

Educational Qualification (10+2 / Intermediate)

  • Passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Central/State/UT board with:
    • Minimum 50% marks aggregate, and
    • Minimum 50% marks in English

OR

Educational Qualification (Vocational)

  • Passed two years’ vocational course with non-vocational subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with:
    • Minimum 50% marks aggregate, and
    • Minimum 50% marks in English

Educational Qualification (Diploma / B. Pharma / B.Sc Pharmacy)

  • Passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with:
    • Minimum 50% marks aggregate, and
    • Minimum 50% marks in English
  • Plus Diploma / B. Pharma / B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks aggregate
  • Valid registration from State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is mandatory at the time of enrolment

Salary / Pay Scale

  • During Training: Stipend ₹14,600 per month
  • After Training: Starting gross emoluments (including MSP) ₹26,900 per month (plus DA as applicable)
  • Other admissible allowances include Transport Allowance, CPMA, LRA, Children Education Allowance, HRA etc. as per rules.
  • Group Insurance Cover: ₹62.5 Lakhs (premium ₹3,200 per month) as per existing provisions mentioned in the notification.

Mandatory Medical / Physical Standards (Key Points)

  • Minimum Height: 152 cm (Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant (Pharmacist))
  • Chest: Minimum 77 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion
  • Hearing: Normal hearing (forced whisper from 6 meters each ear)
  • Dental: Minimum 14 dental points; orthodontic appliances may lead to unfitness as per standards
  • Vision (Medical Assistant / Pharmacist):
    • Refractive error: Not exceeding +3.50D including astigmatism
    • Visual acuity: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye
    • Colour vision: CP-II
  • LASIK/PRK: Not accepted
  • NDPS / substance abuse: Reject criteria; zero tolerance policy
  • Tattoos: Generally not permitted except permitted areas/customs as per rules; selection centre decision final
