The fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other recruitment process. Payment must be made online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, BHIM, UPI or other available online payment modes.
Age Limit
The candidate's age and educational qualification will be calculated as on 01/08/2026. The candidate must have been born between 02/08/1996 and 01/08/2006, both dates inclusive.

The maximum age limit of 30 years applies to General and EWS candidates. Cumulative relaxation may be allowed in eligible cases, subject to a maximum upper age limit of 50 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates and applicable Government rules.

Some states include backlog vacancies. The number of vacancies and reserved vacancies is provisional and may change according to the actual requirements of the Bank. Candidates can apply for one state only, and the merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise.
PwBD reservations are horizontal. Selected PwBD candidates will be placed in the appropriate SC, ST, OBC, EWS or UR category to which they belong.
Eligibility / Qualification
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The candidate must have a valid mark sheet or degree certificate confirming graduation on the date of online registration and must enter the graduation percentage in the application form.
Local Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking the mandatory local language of the state for which they apply:
- Tamil Nadu: Tamil
- Karnataka: Kannada
- Maharashtra: Marathi
- Gujarat: Gujarati
Candidates who studied the specified local language as a subject in Class 10 or Class 12 will not be required to take the Language Proficiency Test. Candidates who have not studied the language in Class 10 or Class 12 must qualify in the Language Proficiency Test before appearing for the Personal Interview.
Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian citizen, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates in the specified non-Indian categories must possess an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
Selection Process

Candidates qualifying in the online examination will be shortlisted for the Language Proficiency Test where applicable. Candidates qualifying in the online examination and LPT will be called for the Personal Interview as per the Bank's requirements.
The final selection will be based on the combined performance in the online examination and Personal Interview. The weightage ratio will be 80:20, respectively. The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise.

- The online examination will contain 140 objective-type questions carrying 200 marks.
- Separate timing will be provided for each section.
- There will be no sectional qualifying marks.
- Minimum aggregate qualifying marks in the online examination are 35% for unreserved candidates and 30% for reserved candidates.
- For every wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
- No marks will be deducted for an unanswered question.
Personal Interview
The Personal Interview will carry 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% for unreserved candidates and 45% for reserved candidates. The minimum aggregate score in the online examination and interview is 35% for unreserved candidates and 30% for reserved candidates.
Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager (Scale-I) in JMGS-I with the following basic pay scale:

Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance and other benefits will be provided as per the Bank's rules in force from time to time.
Candidates selected for appointment will remain on probation for 2 years of active service from the date of joining. They must execute a Financial Service Indemnity Bond of ₹2,00,000 to serve the Bank for a minimum period of 3 years.
The selected candidate will be posted within the state selected at the time of application for the first 12 years of service or until promotion to SMGS-IV Grade, whichever is earlier.
Additional Recruitment Conditions
- Only online applications will be accepted.
- A candidate can apply for one state only.
- If multiple applications are submitted for the same state, the last submitted application will be considered.
- Candidates must retain their registered email ID throughout the recruitment process.
- Candidates must upload a photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format.
- The handwritten declaration must be written in English in the candidate's own handwriting and must not be in capital letters.
- Candidates using a scribe must arrange the scribe at their own cost. The scribe's qualification must be one level below that of the candidate, and the scribe must not be an applicant for this recruitment.
- Eligible candidates using a scribe, and eligible candidates with specified disabilities, may receive compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination, subject to registration in the application form.
- Candidates called for the Personal Interview must bring original documents and self-attested photocopies, including the interview call letter, online application form, date of birth proof, language proficiency proof, identity proof, educational certificates, experience documents, caste/EWS/PwBD certificates and No Objection Certificate wherever applicable.
- Candidates serving in Government offices, Public Sector Undertakings or nationalized banks must produce an original No Objection Certificate at the Personal Interview.
- Appointment is subject to medical fitness and satisfactory verification of character, antecedents and certificates.
