Eligibility / Qualification
- Candidate must possess ITI pass certificate in the relevant trade.
- ITI certificate should be from NCVT/SCVT as applicable.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any Government / PSU / Private Industrial organization (partly or fully) are not eligible.
- Candidate must apply for one trade only.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on percentage of marks in ITI.
- If tie in ITI marks: higher percentage in 10th / 8th will be placed higher (for Welder, Carpenter/Wood Work Technician, Mason/Civil Mistry, Plumber: 8th class only).
- If tie continues: candidate born earlier (older) will be placed higher.
- Document Verification (mandatory).
- Medical Examination as prescribed by the competent authority.
Salary / Pay Scale
Stipend (per month) as per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2025 (G.S.R. 610(E) dated 03/09/2025):
- ₹11,040/- per month for candidates with 2 years duration ITI course.
- ₹10,560/- per month for candidates with 1 year duration ITI course.
Exam Pattern
