Eligibility / Qualification

B) Upper Primary Level Teacher Eligibility (Class 6–8)

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following (as per NCTE norms mentioned in the rules):

• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (or equivalent).

OR

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (as per applicable NCTE provisions; the rules mention recognition after 29/07/2011 for certain programs).

OR

• Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed. as per applicable NCTE provisions.
