Age Relaxation (as per Government of India rules):

- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after deduction of military service rendered from actual age as on closing date

Notes:

Eligibility / Qualification
1) Deputy Director (Medical) (Group A)
- Age: Not exceeding 35 years
- Essential: A recognized Postgraduate Medical qualification approved under the Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Desirable: Training in medical education technology and/or knowledge of modern evaluation techniques including MCQs/MEQs generation and analysis of candidate performance.
2) Junior Programmer (Group B)
- Age: Below 27 years
- Essential: B.Tech / BE / BCA / DOEACC (B or C level) / Degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics with specialization in computers or equivalent.
3) Junior Accountant (Group C)
- Age: Below 27 years
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics or Statistics OR a Degree in Commerce from a recognized university.
- Must qualify an examination as may be prescribed by NBEMS.
- Desirable: 3 years’ experience in accounts work in Govt. institution etc. with knowledge of computer-based accounting.
4) Stenographer (Group C)
- Age: 18–27 years
- Essential: Senior Secondary (12th / 10+2)
- Other Qualifications:
- Stenographic skill 80/30 WPM in shorthand/typing
- Must appear and qualify in General English / Shorthand & Typewriting test conducted by the Board
- Desirable: 2 years’ experience as Steno in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Body and ability of word processing on computer.
5) Junior Assistant (Group C)
- Age: Below 27 years
- Essential:
- Passed Senior Secondary (12th) from a recognized Board/University recognized by Central/State Govt./UT Administration/Educational Authority.
- Proficiency in computers and basic software packages such as Windows / Network Operating System, working in LAN architecture.
- Must qualify an examination as may be prescribed by NBEMS.
Selection Process
For Deputy Director (Medical) & Junior Programmer
- Examination scheme and syllabus will be intimated shortly on NBEMS website.
For Junior Accountant, Stenographer & Junior Assistant
- Stage-I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Stage-II: Computer Knowledge / Skill Test
Note: No interview will be held for Group B and Group C posts.
Exam Pattern
Stage-I (CBT) for Junior Accountant / Stenographer / Junior Assistant
- Total Questions: 200
- Total Marks: 200
- Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- 40% for SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen
- 50% for others
Level of Paper:
- Junior Accountant: Graduate level common paper
- Stenographer: 10+2 level paper
- Junior Assistant: 10+2 level paper
Stage-I Syllabus (CBT):

Stage-II (Computer Knowledge / Skill Test)

- Duration: 75 minutes
- Shortlisting for Stage-II: 5 candidates per vacancy (category-wise) based on Stage-I merit
- Stage-II may include: Data Entry, Word Processing, Computer Operation, Stenography etc. as per post requirement
- Minimum Marks in Stage-II for final selection eligibility:
- 40% for SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen
- 50% for others
Final merit list (for these posts) will be prepared on the basis of total marks of Stage-I + Stage-II. In case of tie, older candidate will be placed above.
Salary / Pay Scale
Pay as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix:
- Deputy Director (Medical): Level 11
- Junior Programmer: Level 7
- Junior Accountant: Level 4
- Stenographer: Level 4
- Junior Assistant: Level 2
