Eligibility / Qualification
Educational Qualification (as on 01/01/2026):
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Diploma/Certificate of at least 6 months course in Computer Application from a recognized institution.
Preferential Qualification (preference at interview, other things being equal):
- Minimum 2 years service in Territorial Army, or
- NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
Nationality:
Candidate must be:
- Citizen of India, or
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01/01/1972 with intention of permanent settlement, or
- Person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma (Myanmar), Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika) and Zambia with intention of permanent settlement.
(Where required, certificate of eligibility must be issued by the State Government.)
Other Conditions:
- Character must be suitable for appointment; candidates terminated/dismissed by Govt/PSU/Local Authority or convicted of serious offences (other than fine-only) are ineligible.
- Marital status restriction: male with more than one wife alive / female married to a person having a wife alive is not eligible.
- Medical fitness certificate required at joining from a Government Hospital Medical Officer (not below Deputy Superintendent).
