Eligibility / Qualification
Assistant Manager (Law)
- Educational Qualification (Mandatory): Graduate with a degree in Law (LLB) / Law Graduate from a recognized university in India.
- Preferred: 5-year integrated law course from a recognized university in India.
- Experience (Mandatory as on 31/05/2026):
- Enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council and 2 years experience as a practicing advocate, OR
- 2 years experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks, OR
- 2 years combined experience as practicing advocate and Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks.
- Experience must be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council.
Deputy Manager (Law)
- Educational Qualification (Mandatory): Graduate with a degree in Law (LLB) / Law Graduate from a recognized university in India.
- Preferred: 5-year integrated law course from a recognized university in India.
- Experience (Mandatory as on 31/05/2026):
- Enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council and 4 years experience as a practicing advocate, OR
- 4 years experience as Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks, OR
- 4 years combined experience as practicing advocate and Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks.
- Experience must be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council.
Important Experience Notes (as per notification):
- Internship experience will not be counted.
- Teaching and training experience will not be counted.
Selection Process
- Online Written Test (Objective + Descriptive)
- Interview
- Document Verification (at interview stage as per SBI instructions)
- Medical Examination & other formalities (as applicable)
Final Weightage:
- Written Test: 70%
- Interview: 30%

Online Written Examination will have Objective Test and Descriptive Test.
