Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released Advertisement No. A-5/E-1/2025 for Assistant Teacher, Trained Graduate Grade (Male/Female Branch) Examination 2025. A total of 7,466 vacancies are available for Male and Female branches. Eligible candidates must apply online only through the OTR-based application system.

• Emergency Commissioned / Short Service Commissioned Officers / Ex-Army (UP): 3 years + period of service rendered in Army

• Hindi: Graduation with Hindi + Intermediate with Sanskrit OR Uttar Madhyama (UP Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad) + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized)
• English: Graduation with English Literature + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized)
• Math: Graduation with Math as one subject + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized)
• Science (Physics/Chemistry): Graduation with Physics and Chemistry + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized)
• Social Science: Graduation with at least two subjects among History, Geography, Political Science, Economics + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized)
  • Main Exam Note: Social Science has 4 sections (Geography/History/Economics/Civics); candidates choose any 2 sections.
• Computer: Any one of the following:
  • B.Tech./B.E. (Computer Science) OR
  • Graduate in Computer Science OR
  • Graduate in Computer Application OR
  • Graduation + ‘A’ Level course from NIELIT OR
  • B.Tech (Computer Science) + MCA (Computer Science)

Special teacher eligibility includes relevant Bachelor’s degree + Special Education diploma/degree (RCI recognized) and other requirements such as:

• Visually Impaired: Special Education (VI) + Braille reading/writing knowledge + RCI registration
• Hearing Impaired: Special Education (HI) + Sign Language knowledge + RCI registration
• Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy: Special Education (LD/CP) + RCI registration

Preferential Qualification

• Territorial Army service for minimum 2 years, OR
• NCC ‘B’ Certificate

• Section A: 10 short-answer questions (word limit around 125 words), 8 marks each
• Section B: 10 long-answer questions (word limit around 200 words), 12 marks each
