Age Relaxation (Upper Age Limit):
- SC / ST / OBC (U.P.) / Skilled Players (U.P.) / U.P. State Govt Employees (including certain teachers/staff): 5 years
- PWD (U.P.): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen / Emergency Commissioned Officers / Short Service Commissioned Officers (U.P.): 3 years + period of service rendered in Army
- Chief Minister Fellowship Programme Research Scholars (as per rules, 2026): up to 3 years (1 year for 1-year tenure, 2 years for 2-year tenure, 3 years for 3+ years tenure)

Eligibility / Qualification
Minimum Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University up to the last date of application.
Posts with Specific Qualification (as per notification)
Some posts require additional/specific qualifications. Examples mentioned in the notification include:
- Principal, Government Intermediate College (Boys/Girls): Post Graduate Degree + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized) + 3 years teaching experience (regular appointment) (preferential: Territorial Army 2 years / NCC “B” certificate).
- ADIOS / Deputy Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad / BSA and equivalent: Post Graduate Degree (preferential: B.Ed. + Territorial Army / NCC “B”).
- Senior Lecturer, DIET: Post Graduate Degree + B.Ed. (preferential: M.Ed./Ph.D./M.Phil. in Education + Territorial Army / NCC “B”).
- Labour Enforcement Officer / Assistant Labour Commissioner: Post Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in relevant fields such as Economics, Sociology, Commerce, Law, Labour Relations, Labour Welfare, Social Work, Business Management, Personnel Management (as applicable) (preferential: Territorial Army / NCC “B”).
- Manager: Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with Housekeeping as a subject (preferential: Territorial Army / NCC “B”).
- District Probation Officer: Post Graduate Degree in Psychology / Sociology / Social Work or PG Diploma in Social Work (equivalent qualifications as per government order may apply).
- Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology Grade-2: Degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engineering + working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari.
- Officer on Special Duty (Computer): Graduation in Computer Engineering OR First Class PG in Mathematics + 1-year PG Diploma in Computer Science + 1-year experience in computer work.
- Assistant Prosecution Officer (Transport): Bachelor of Laws (LLB) + thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari.
- Food Safety Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology / Dairy Technology / Biotechnology / Oil Technology / Agricultural Science / Veterinary Sciences / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology OR PG in Chemistry OR Degree in Medicine; training as specified after selection; restrictions as per rules.
- Account & Audit Officer, Mandi Parishad: B.Com with Accountancy + 5 years responsible accounts experience (preference for higher qualification in Audit/Accounts).
- Marketing Officer / Secretary Class-2, Mandi Parishad: Graduate in Agriculture / Agriculture Marketing / Science / Commerce / Economics / Agriculture Economics (preferential: PG / MBA (Agri Business) as specified).
- Finance and Accounts Officer (Urban Development Department): Graduate in Economics / Commerce (Finance) / CA / CFA (preferential: Territorial Army / NCC “B”).

Additional points as per notification:
- Candidates successful in Preliminary Exam will fill a separate online form for Main Exam.
- 15 times candidates (approx.) of vacancies qualify for Main Exam.
- 3 times candidates (approx.) of vacancies are called for Interview.
