Eligibility / Qualification

Essential Qualification (General):

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University up to the last date of application.

Posts with Specific Qualifications (examples mentioned in notification):

  • Principal, Government Intermediate College (Boys/Girls): Post Graduate Degree + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized) + 3 years continuous teaching experience in High School/Intermediate or higher classes with regular salary from Govt funds/grants; Territorial Army (2 years) / NCC “B” certificate preference.
  • ADIOS / Deputy Secretary Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad / BSA & equivalent: Post Graduate Degree; preference for B.Ed. and Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • Senior Lecturer, DIET: Post Graduate Degree + B.Ed.; preference M.Ed./Ph.D./M.Phil. (Education) and Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • Labour Enforcement Officer / Assistant Labour Commissioner: Post Graduate qualification in relevant disciplines such as Economics / Sociology / Commerce / Law / Labour Welfare / Social Work / Personnel Management / Business Management etc. (as per service rules); preference Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • Manager (Hotel Management): Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with Housekeeping as a subject; preference Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • District Probation Officer: Post Graduate Degree in Psychology / Sociology / Social Work or PG Diploma in Social Work (recognized); preference Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology Grade-2: Degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engineering + working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari; preference Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • Officer on Special Duty (Computer): Graduation in Computer Engineering OR First Class PG Degree in Math + 1-year PG Diploma in Computer Science + 1-year experience in computer work; preference Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • Assistant Prosecution Officer (Transport): LL.B. + thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari; preference Territorial Army / NCC “B”.
  • Food Safety Officer: Bachelor’s in Food Technology / Dairy Technology / Biotechnology / Oil Technology / Agricultural Science / Veterinary Sciences / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology OR PG in Chemistry OR Degree in Medicine; training as specified by Food Authority after selection; restrictions related to financial interest in food business.
  • Account & Audit Officer, Mandi Parishad: B.Com with Accountancy + 5 years accounts experience (responsible capacity); preference higher qualification in Audit/Accounts.
  • Marketing Officer / Secretary Class-2, Mandi Parishad: Graduate in Agriculture / Agriculture Marketing / Science / Commerce / Economics / Agriculture Economics; preference PG / MBA (Agri Business) etc. as per notification.
  • Finance & Accounts Officer (Urban Development Department): Graduate in Economics / Commerce Finance / CA / CFA (as per notification).
