- Final merit list is prepared on the basis of Main Exam marks (Paper 2) as per category-wise reservation.

Age Limit (As per notification)
Age is calculated as on 01/08/2025 (minimum age) and maximum age considered with reference to 01/08/2024 as per the notification.
- General (Male): 20 to 37 years
- General (Female): 20 to 40 years
- BC / EBC (Male & Female): 20 to 40 years
- SC / ST (Male, Female & Transgender): 20 to 42 years
Additional relaxations:
- Bihar Government employees (regular service with minimum 3 years): 5 years relaxation in maximum age for appearing in competitive exams for higher pay level/service.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period relaxation, subject to maximum actual age not exceeding 57 years.
