Eligibility / Qualification
Two-Year B.Ed. (CET-B.Ed.)
Candidates are eligible if they have:
- At least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or Master’s Degree in Science / Social Science / Humanities / Commerce, OR
- At least 55% marks in Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics, OR
- Any other qualification equivalent to the above.
Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.)
Minimum qualification to appear:
- At least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as main subject (Shastri or B.A. where Sanskrit is main) OR Master’s in Sanskrit / Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks (or equivalent), OR
- Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit subject) and Acharya (First Year) or M.A. Sanskrit (First Year) from a recognized university/institution.
Also, candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit) may be required to complete a one-year bridge course to be eligible for Shiksha Shastri, as mentioned in the prospectus.

- The CET-B.Ed. 2026 Result is scheduled to be declared on 19/06/2026 (Friday).
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- Unreserved (UR): 42 marks (35%)
- SC / ST / BC / EBC / WBC / EWS / Divyang: 36 marks (30%)
What Next After Result
- Qualifying in CET-B.Ed. 2026 and/or participation in counselling does not guarantee admission.
- Admission will be granted only after verification of original marksheets and certificates as per eligibility criteria.

Candidates can choose three cities for the entrance test (as per Appendix-I). For Shiksha Shastri, the examination centre city is Darbhanga only.

Key Instructions (Important)
- Application is online only.
- Upload recent colour photo and signature in 35 mm × 45 mm, JPG format, up to 100 KB each.
- Upload marksheets of Matric, Intermediate, Graduation, and Postgraduation (as applicable) in JPEG.
- Email ID will be the Login ID for CET-B.Ed. 2026.
- Candidates must mention one identity proof number: Aadhaar / Voter ID / Driving Licence / Passport.
- After fee payment, Gender / Domicile / Category cannot be changed.
- Legal disputes will be under Patna High Court jurisdiction.
- Do not send the printout of application form to BRABU or anywhere.
