Payment is accepted through online mode only using debit card, credit card or internet banking through the SBI payment gateway. GST and bank or transaction charges are payable by the candidate. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
- Other Backward Class, Non-Creamy Layer: 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years; additional relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as prescribed.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service from actual age.
- Persons ordinarily domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir during 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989: 5 years.
The maximum age after cumulative relaxation shall not exceed 47 years as on the date of advertisement. Departmental and existing temporary CCI employees may receive relaxation to the extent of their service in CCI, subject to the prescribed conditions.

For Post Codes 105, 106 and 107, two posts are reserved for PwBD candidates and seven posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen within the overall vacancies. For Junior Assistant (General), one post is reserved for PwBD candidates and four posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

All educational qualifications must be obtained from a university, institution or board recognized by the Government of India. Candidates currently employed in CCI applying for Post Codes 105, 106 and 107 may be eligible with any graduation qualification under the conditions specified in the notification.
Result Details
The notification states that CCI will shortlist candidates for document verification based on the recruitment process. The shortlisted candidates list and subsequent recruitment updates will be published on the CCI website. Candidates should monitor the official website and their registered email address and mobile number for examination, admit card, shortlist and result-related announcements.
Candidates must produce original documents and photocopies during document verification, including proof of date of birth, category certificate, educational qualifications, experience certificate, disability certificate wherever applicable and No Objection Certificate for candidates employed with Government, Semi-Government or Public Sector Undertakings.
Examination Pattern
The Computer-Based Test for the posts consists of objective multiple-choice questions. The examination contains 120 questions, carries 120 marks and must be completed in 120 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, while 0.25 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. The level of the paper will correspond to the qualification prescribed for the post.

The minimum qualifying marks in the Computer-Based Test are 40% for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Syllabus Details
The common sections cover English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, synonyms, sentence arrangement, reasoning, syllogism, inequalities, direction and distance, ranking, blood relations, data interpretation, coding-decoding, data sufficiency, series, puzzles, quantitative aptitude, ratio and proportion, time and work, speed and distance, percentages, averages, profit and loss, discount, probability and simple and compound interest.
Basic computer proficiency includes computer fundamentals, terminology, hardware and software, input and output devices, computer networks, communication, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, computer peripherals, keyboard shortcuts and commonly used computer abbreviations.

- Information Technology: Digital logic, computer organization and architecture, C programming, data structures, algorithms, theory of computation, compiler design, operating systems, databases, software engineering, computer networks and web technologies.

Service Conditions

Selected candidates will be placed on probation for 12 months of active service. A mandatory service bond requires the selected candidate to serve the Corporation for at least three years after joining or pay three months of basic pay in lieu of the service obligation.
Candidates may be posted at any CCI office across India. Junior Commercial Executives may be posted in rural and remote areas. Appointment is subject to medical fitness and document verification.
Examination Instructions
Mobile phones, pagers, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, cameras, pen drives and other electronic or communication devices are prohibited inside the examination venue, even when switched off. Candidates must carry the e-admit card and valid Government photo identity proof. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent by post.
The examination cities listed by CCI are Mumbai/Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Patna and Jaipur. Requests for change of examination centre, date or time will not be accepted.
PwBD candidates must possess a valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Eligible candidates may use a scribe and receive compensatory time according to Government of India guidelines. A candidate using a scribe is generally eligible for 20 minutes of compensatory time for every hour of examination, subject to the applicable rules.
CCI may cancel candidature at any stage if information furnished in the online application is false, incomplete or inconsistent with the eligibility conditions. Candidates can apply for only one post. Applications submitted through any mode other than online will not be accepted.
