Eligibility / Qualification
PGT Computer Science

Educational Qualification (Any one):
- M.Sc. Computer Science (Regular 2-year course), or
- MCA (Regular 3-year course), or
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT (Regular course)
- Minimum Marks: 55% aggregate from a recognized university.

Hindi Requirement:
- Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit OR 10+2 / BA / MA with Hindi as one subject.

Teacher Eligibility:
- Certificate of having qualified HTET / STET.

Consistent Good Academic Record:
- As per service rules, it means 50% marks average of any three examinations from 10th / 12th / Graduation / Post Graduation (as applicable).
- Candidate must have at least 55% in Post Graduation / Graduation (as applicable).

Relaxation in qualifying marks:
- Up to 5% relaxation for SC and PwBD candidates (minimum 52.25% in PG/Graduation as applicable).

- Final Merit List based on Subject Knowledge Test + Interview
Note: HPSC reserves the right to call candidates directly for Subject Knowledge Test without conducting the Screening Test.

Negative Marking / Penalty Rules:
- Each question has 5 options (A, B, C, D, E).
- If not attempting, candidate must darken E.
- If none of the five circles is darkened, 0.25 mark will be deducted.
- 0.25 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- If a candidate does not darken any circle in more than 10% questions, the candidate will be disqualified.
