Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology, Prayagraj (IERT) has announced that the IERT Entrance Examination 2026 result will be published online only on the official website www.iertentrance.in. The result will be declared separately for Engineering/Technology Diploma, Management Diploma, and Post Diploma in Computer Application.
Candidates should note that the result does not guarantee admission. Admission will be provided strictly as per merit, reservation rules, and verification of original documents during counselling.

Result Details
- The IERT Entrance Examination 2026 result will be available only on the official website: www.iertentrance.in.
- Separate results will be declared for:
- Three Year (6 Semester) Engineering/Technology Diploma
- Two Year (4 Semester) Management Diploma
- One & Half Year (3 Semester) Post Diploma in Computer Application
- Merit Criteria:
- Engineering/Technology Diploma admission will be based only on entrance exam merit.
- Management Diploma and Post Diploma in Computer Application admission will be based on entrance exam merit + interview.
- The result does not provide any guarantee of admission. Final admission depends on:
- Merit position
- Reservation eligibility as per UP Government rules
- Verification of original certificates at counselling
- No allowance will be paid for attending counselling.
- No scrutiny / revaluation of answer sheets is permitted.
- If two or more candidates obtain the same marks, merit will be decided by Date of Birth (elder candidate gets preference).
Counselling Intimation / Offer Letter
- Shortlisted candidates will be able to download the Counselling Offer / Intimation Letter from www.iertentrance.in after the result is declared.
- The counselling letter will contain:
- Counselling date
- Counselling time
- Counselling place
- No postal letter will be sent to any candidate.
- The counselling offer letter does not guarantee admission, as letters may be issued to candidates more than the available seats.
Admit Card Note (Related to Exam)
- Admit card is made available online only on www.iertentrance.in.
- It is expected to be available for download approximately 10 days before the examination.
- Candidates must carry a coloured printout of the admit card to the exam.
Entrance Exam Pattern (As per Brochure)
- Duration: 3 Hours
- Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Maximum Marks (Written Exam): 300
- Questions: 75 MCQs (4 options each)
- Marking Scheme:
- +4 marks for each correct answer
- -1 mark for each wrong answer
- Interview: 100 marks (only for courses where interview is part of admission process)
Documents Required at Counselling (As per Brochure)
Candidates must bring all original documents and three sets of photocopies at counselling, including:
- Entrance Exam Admit Card
- High School (Class 10) Marksheet & Certificate
- Other qualification marksheets/certificates as applicable (Intermediate / Diploma / Graduation etc.)
- Character Certificate (not older than 6 months)
- Category certificates (if applicable): OBC / SC / ST / EWS / FF / MW / PH
- For FF dependent: Freedom Fighter pension documents and photo identity proof
- For MW dependent: Defence personnel pension/salary proof and dependency certificate (as applicable)
- 12 passport size photographs (same as uploaded in application)
- Income Certificate issued after 31/03/2026 (for fee waiver / scholarship, if applicable)
- Medical certificate with blood group report from CMO / Govt Hospital Medical Officer
- UP domicile certificate of father/mother (if High School passed from outside UP)
- Transfer Certificate (TC) first copy, countersigned by DIOS where applicable
- Affidavit for education gap (if any)
- Separate Bank Drafts for counselling fee and course fee in favour of Director, IERT, payable at Prayagraj
Eligibility (For Reference)
- Engineering Diploma (3 Years / 6 Semester): Class 10 (High School) with Science & Maths. Minimum age 14 years as on 01/07/2026. No upper age limit.
- Management Diploma (2 Years / 4 Semester): Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent; English and Hindi required at High School or Intermediate level. Minimum age 16 years as on 01/07/2026. No upper age limit.
- Post Diploma in Computer Application (1.5 Years / 3 Semester): Diploma in Engg/Tech OR Graduate in any discipline with Physics & Maths at Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent. Minimum age 18 years as on 01/07/2026. No upper age limit.
Reservation (UP Government Rules)
Reservation will be applicable as per UP Government rules for SC / ST / OBC / EWS, and horizontal categories such as MW (Military Ward), FF (Freedom Fighter), PH (PwD), GL (Girls) at the time of counselling. Candidates must ensure reservation details are correctly filled in the online form and produce valid certificates during counselling.
