Eligibility / Qualification
Senior Computer Instructor
Candidates should have any one of the following (or equivalent / higher qualification recognized by the Government):
- M.E. / M.Tech. in CS / IT / ECE / EE / EEE / ETE / EIE
- M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology
- MCA / ‘B’ Level / ‘C’ Level
Also required:
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script
- Knowledge of Rajasthani culture
Basic Computer Instructor
Candidates should have any one of the following (or equivalent / higher qualification recognized by the Government):
- Graduate + ‘A’ Level / PGDCA (minimum 1 year)
- B.E. / B.Tech. in CS / IT / ECE / EE / EEE / EIC / TIE
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology
- BCA (from a University established by law in India)
Also required:
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script
- Knowledge of Rajasthani culture
Age Limit
As per notification, age is calculated as on 01/01/2027:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per Rajasthan Government rules (including category-wise and special category relaxations mentioned in the notification).

Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Competitive Written Examination (CBT / TBT / OMR as decided by the Board)
- Document Verification (as per department instructions)
Exam Pattern
Both posts have a 200 marks objective exam with two papers:
- Paper I: 100 marks, 100 MCQs, 2 hours
- Paper II: 100 marks, 100 MCQs, 2 hours
Negative marking:
- 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
Minimum qualifying marks:
- 40% (Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates).

Candidates can check the RSSB Result 2026 for Senior Computer Instructor / Basic Computer Instructor from the official portal/website as released by the Board.
After the result, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification as per RSSB / concerned department instructions. Candidates should keep their application number, SSO ID, and required documents ready for the next stage.
Salary / Pay Scale
As per the notification (7th Pay Commission):
- Basic Computer Instructor: Pay Matrix Level-8
- Senior Computer Instructor: Pay Matrix Level-10
During probation, fixed remuneration will be payable as per Rajasthan Government rules.
