Opening
Union Bank of India (UBI) has issued an official notice for Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for Total 1,865 seats. Candidates who applied online between 29/04/2026 to 19/05/2026 can check updates related to the result / shortlisted list on the official website as mentioned in the notification.
As per the notice, the online examination is tentative in May/June 2026, and the list of shortlisted and finally selected candidates will be published on the UBI website. Shortlisted candidates will also receive an email from BFSI SSC for further actions on the apprenticeship portals.

Eligibility / Qualification
Educational Qualification (as on 01/04/2026):
- Candidate must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institute/university (AICTE/UGC/Govt approved).
- Graduation result must be declared on or before 01/04/2026.
- Graduation passing date must be within 4 years from cut-off date: Graduation marksheet date should not be prior to 01/04/2022.
Other Key Eligibility Conditions:
- Candidate must not have undergone apprenticeship earlier in UBI or any other organization.
- Candidate must not have job experience of 1 year or more after completing the educational qualification.
- Candidate must be proficient in one local language of the state applied for.
